Dear Parishioners,
The pew installation is complete! All together, there are 126 new pews comprising 1,524 linear feet of seating. The property insurance claim provided for complete replacement of the original configuration of pews.
The solid wood pews are also fitted with padded wood kneelers. Previously, the kneeler frames were metal. The seats are 1 ½ inch higher than the previous seating and the back is slightly curved with the result that sitting is more comfortable. The cushion is denser and provides more support for both sitting and kneeling.
All of the care that was taken to design, fabricate and install the new pews for our church home provides an environment that is even more conducive to prayer and participation in the sacred liturgy.

La instalación de las bancas ha sido completada. En total hay 126 bancas nuevas que comprenden 1,524 pies lineales (465 mts. lineales) de asientos. La reclamación del seguro de propiedad cubrió la reposición total de las bancas originales.
Las bancas de madera sólida incluyen también reclinatorios de madera acolchados. Anteriormente, la base de los reclinatorios era de metal. Los asientos son 1.5 pulgadas más altos que los anteriores, y los respaldos están ligeramente curveados para mayor comodidad. El material acojinado de asientos y reclinatorios es más denso y ofrece un mayor soporte tanto al sentarse como al arrodillarse.
Todo el cuidado que se ha puesto a los detalles de diseño, fabricación en instalación de las nuevas bancas para nuestra nueva iglesia, brinda un ambiente aún más propicio para la oración y la participación en la sagrada liturgia.
